How to delete your account

1. Sign in to China Now, in Chinese.
2. Select the round account button in the bottom-right corner.
3. Choose “Delete account and data”.
4. Read the warning and confirm.

What will be deleted

Deleting the account permanently removes access to this Site and its cloud copy of your saved words, reading history, exercise answers, review progress and study time. This cannot be undone. Accounts on other Yona Chinese websites are separate and will not be deleted.

Local browser copies

Your browser may retain a small amount of cached Site data. You can remove it through the browser’s cookie and site-data settings. Creating a new account will not restore cloud learning data that was previously deleted.

If you cannot sign in

If you cannot access the account but want your data deleted, submit the registered email address and your request through the Contact page. Never send your password. We may take reasonable steps to verify that the account belongs to you.
